Stanford Ultimate

Privacy Policy

Last updated on July 21, 2026

The Stanford Ultimate community hub (the “Service”) is a private platform for the Bloodthirsty, Superfly, Firefly, and Stanford Men’s B team ultimate frisbee communities, connecting alumni, players, and followers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to run the community hub:

  • Google account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Profile information you provide. Details you add to your player profile — such as your display name, photo, bio, and other optional fields you choose to fill in.
  • Team membership. The team(s) you belong to and your role within the community, as configured by an administrator.
  • Basic technical data. Standard information your browser sends (such as device and log data) that is used to keep the Service secure and working.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Display your profile to other members of your team community within the Service.
  • Connect you to the correct team and features.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How your information is shared

Your profile information is visible to other authenticated members of your team community. We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

  • Service providers that help us run the Service — including Google (for sign-in) and Supabase (for authentication, database, and file storage). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our community and its members.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see below).

Your choices and rights

  • You can review and update your profile information at any time from within the Service.
  • You can request that we delete your account and personal data by contacting us.
  • You can revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google account permissions.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, and rely on established providers (Google and Supabase) for authentication and storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for members of the Stanford Ultimate communities and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
