Terms of Service

Welcome to the Stanford Ultimate community hub (the “Service”), a private platform for the Bloodthirsty, Superfly, Firefly, and Stanford Men’s B team ultimate frisbee communities. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who can use the Service

The Service is intended for members, alumni, players, and followers of the Stanford Ultimate communities. Access is granted at the discretion of the community administrators, who may connect you to a team or remove access. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

Your account

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that occurs under it. Please provide accurate information in your profile and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or otherwise harmful to other members.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with the community.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or its underlying systems.
• Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or other disruptive content.
• Use information or content from the Service outside the community without appropriate consent.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to your profile, such as your photo and bio. By posting content, you grant the Service permission to display it to other members of your team community for the purpose of operating the hub. You are responsible for the content you provide and confirm that you have the right to share it.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

Service availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. This is a community project, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and its administrators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is offered for the benefit of the community without warranty of any kind.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
